C. Crane Full Spectrum Digital FM Transmitter 2 (FM2)

The c.crane transmitter lives up to its specs precisely-signal strength excellent to about 50 feet or less then immediately dies. About the right strength for a whole house setup. Single 3.5 mm jack plugs into the laptop well although extensions aren't recommended. I use the wall wart and it does fine. It would be nice to have usb or other types of jacks. Screen clarity a bit bad. The antenna is a bit longer than a foot. The size of the transmitter feels surprisingly small. It feels well built and rugged and you could fit it in an oversized pocket.
